Broadway Corridor Grant ‘Design the Future of Broadway’ Community Workshop

On February 24th and 25th, ULI Sacramento and the Greater Broadway Partnership hosted: ‘Design the Future of Broadway’, a community visioning workshop for an economic strategy for the future of Sacramento’s most historic corridors including: traffic, parking, walk-abilty and land uses.

Nationally recognized urban planner Dan Burden, named “one of six most important civic innovators in the world” by TIME magazine, lead the highly interactive two-day public involvement planning process. Burden also shared his expertise on traffic calming practices based on his experience with similar programs in more
than 2,500 cities nationwide.
