ULI Sacramento Wins Grant for “Transforming Downtown Plaza: A Vision for Downtown Sacramento”

During ULI’s Fall Meeting in Denver this week, ULI announced the winners for the ULI FY13 Urban Innovation Grants.  ULI Sacramento was one in fifteen district councils awarded a grant this round.  ULI Sacramento was awarded $15,000 to lead a Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) exploring opportunities for a new vision for Sacramento’s downtown plaza by convening public and private partners to provide expertise on the downtown mall as well as a catalyst for other downtown projects. ULI Member Design Firm Takes Top State Honor

Dreyfuss & Blackford Architects was recently singled out as the state’s best by the California jurors in the annual American Institute of Architect’s awards contest. For the first time in at least 32 years, California jurors picked a Sacramento firm over an LA or San Francisco firm.
