Request for Nominations for ‘Best Public Place’ and ‘Next Big Idea’ 6th Annual Vision Honors Awards

ULI Sacramento will be presenting the sixth annual Vision Honors Dinner at the Citizen Hotel
on Wednesday, November 14 from 6:00-9:00 pm.
ULI Sacramento’s Annual Vision Honors was established in 2012 to recognize and honor outstanding leadership in both the private and public sector in Sacramento’s real estate land use community. Past Vision Honors recipients represent the highest standards of achievement in the real estate development industry.

Along with the Member/Achiever Honor being awarded this year, we are asking ULI Members for your nominations for the following new and exciting categories: Best Public Place and Next Big Idea.

Best Public Place Award:
Identifies a project that provides the public with enhanced civic, open or public space access or experiences.  Project may be public sector, non-profit, public/private partnership or entirely private sector, as long as the space itself is generally open to the public without charge. The project must have been completed between June 1, 2013 & June 30, 2018.
Next Big Idea Award:
Recognizes upcoming project, master planning effort, redevelopment, program, policy or ‘idea’ that will transform our industry and our community.  Any innovative idea that can positively impact the region’s quality of life is eligible for consideration.
Deadline for submissions is Friday, August 31.  Nominations may be submitted by ULI Members and Nonmembers.  Winners will be selected by the ULI Governance Committee, and announced by Friday, September 21 at which time Table and Event Sponsorships will be available for the November 14, 2018 Vision Honors dinner.
