Guest Speaker at today’s Members Think Tank session was Dr. Robert Wassmer, Professor and Acting Chair of the Dept of Public Policy & Administration and Director, Masters Program in Urban Land Development at Sac State.
ULI members heard an unbiased presentation by Dr. Wassmer who has studied this issue extensively and who provided history on this hotly debated topic, and the current regulatory environment.

Rent Control is an ever increasing and urgent issue both statewide and locally.  Recently, rent control opponents filed a rent control initiative with the City of Sacramento for potential inclusion on the November ballot.
