During ULI’s Fall Meeting in Denver this week, ULI announced the winners for the ULI FY13 Urban Innovation Grants. ULI Sacramento was one in fifteen district councils awarded a grant this round. ULI Sacramento was awarded $15,000 to lead a Technical Advisory Panel (TAP) exploring opportunities for a new vision for Sacramento’s downtown plaza by convening public and private partners to provide expertise on the downtown mall as well as a catalyst for other downtown projects.
The ULI Foundation Annual Fund provides funding for Urban Innovation Grants, which support ULI District Council or National Council projects that recognize or launch innovative public-private partnerships and advance the responsible use of land in building healthy, thriving communities worldwide.
