Missing Middle: Shifting Demographics & Housing in the downtown core
March 11, 2016
Missing Middle is a range of multi-unit or clustered housing types compatible in scale with single-family homes that help meet the growing demand for walkable urban living. These types provide diverse housing options along a spectrum of affordability, including duplexes, fourplexes, and bungalow courts, to support walkable communities, locally-serving retail, and public transportation options. On March 17, ULI Sacramento will bring a spectrum of developers working in the urban core of Sacramento that are in this interesting place between single family and mid-rise housing. A moderated discussion by Deana Ellis, Vice President Land Resources with Cresleigh Homes Corporation will include Mike Paris, Founder & President, BlackPine Communities; Erica Cunningham, Co-owner, Indie Capital and Rachel Bardis, Co-Founder, Bardis Homes.
