Innovation Districts in Davis was the theme for February’s Think Tank. Mike Webb, Community Development and Sustainability Director, for the City of Davis was the featured speaker and shared with members the City’s strategy and approach to bringing collaborative innovation to Davis. Mike provided an overview of three proposed innovation centers. Innovation Centers are places designed specifically to help businesses improve their ability to innovate by carefully crafting interesting spaces both inside and between buildings, thus creating opportunities for incidental meeting as well as intentional collaboration.
