Thanks to our event sponsors, proceeds from registration will go directly to this year’s charity: California Coalition for Rural Housing (CCRH) Next Generation Leadership Program, a paid year-long internship for students to increase diversity in the affordable housing and community development field. UrbanPlan at Sacramento State University
|
Five MBA teams from Sac State presented their vision and proposals for the redevelopment of an urban block in the downtown, fictitious city of Elmwood. At our first university session of UrbanPlan, the winning team, Hagoo Development, Inc., showed how existing buildings could be renovated alongside new
|
|
|
|
residential, retail and office, while also including a homeless shelter.
Our UrbanPlan committee and volunteers, including Adrian Engel, Tim Denham, Allison Joe, Ellen Martin and Lucas Perretti did an awesome job guiding these students through the project. Thanks also to our faux City Council members (and ULI leaders) Isabel Domeyko, Randy Sater and Megan Quinn. The five students on the winning team will each receive a ULI student membership.

SixSixty Tour Recap

This week women members enjoyed a tour of the newly renovated SixSixty project at 660 J Street presented by WLI and hosted by ULI sponsor, MarketOne Builders. WLI experienced the project firsthand and learned more about how opportunity zone investments are enhancing the Sacramento office market.
