ULI Sacramento Think Tank: New Alternatives to Housing the Homeless
This month's Think Tank will describe the efforts of ULI Sacramento and its partnership with three local architect teams and social service providers in preparing alternative designs for temporary supportive housing for the homeless. This effort has been embraced by Sacramento Mayor Steinberg and is part of his proposed housing master plan to help address this issue. The vision from the design team is to provide Sacramento’s homeless residents with not just shelter but also the support, services and care needed to realize their independence and improve their quality of life.
