ULI Sacramento Think Tank: How Ending Single Family zoning in Sacramento is Addressing the City’s Affordability Gap
ULI Members are invited to a moderated conversation with City of Sacramento's Community Development Director, Tom Pace, on the recent Sacramento City Council unanimous vote to support housing choice in single-family neighborhoods.
With this vote, Sacramento has joined a small group of cities that have effectively ended single-family zoning in an effort to increase residential density and reduce the cost of housing. Mayor Darrell Steinberg said the effort was part of a 'drive for inclusion and equity.' Join us for this opportunity to have an open dialogue with ULI Member, Tom Pace, on this important topic. This session will be moderated by our district council's new Housing Committee Chair, Robin Baral, Of Counsel, Meyers Nave.
