This program will feature a case study of the

Twin Rivers Project in Sacramento, California.

The 22-acre $310 million dollar neighborhood revitalization project is the largest housing project currently under construction Downtown. The project includes the redevelopment of  218  public housing units within  with a 487 unit mixed use, mixed income community. Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency Development Director Tyrone Roderick Williams will provide the project background, identify challenges and lessons learned, discuss any best practices applied to the Twin Rivers Project, and help answer questions about how the region can address the housing affordability issue given the many regulatory constraints facing the California development community.

This Think Tank is part of ULI’s Housing program series focusing on the housing crisis in Sacramento. Future programs will focus on potential alternatives to address this crisis as well as learning about “best practices” from other regions.
Think Tank Series are for ULI Members.
