Program Overview

If you’ve driven in the Folsom Blvd area lately, you have seen a tremendous amount of construction.

How do you change an aging industrial and mixed use thoroughfare into a modern, pedestrian and bike friendly commercial corridor?  What are the catalysts that spark re-design and more importantly, investment, in  defunct intersections and infrastructure improvements?  How have Sac State, developers, the City of Sacramento and neighborhood property owners worked together to enhance the corridor? What new developments are in the works or in the planning stages?
Hear from our panelists with a moderated discussion about their specific role in the changes that are occurring along this busy corridor and how these changes will catalyze more development.
