Mentorship Forums
Mentorship Forums are small groups of young leader professionals who meet throughout the year to share their professional experiences in the land use and real estate/development field. Through a Forum, young leaders can engage one another on a range of management, technical, and professional development questions or issues. Please note that Forums are open only to ULI Members.
Each Forum consists of 10-15 young professionals with varied real estate and planning backgrounds, and will meet throughout the year to discuss professional development topics that are selected as a group. Together, your forum group and facilitator will decide your specific forum goals and how best to achieve those throughout the year. Topics have included finding a work/life balance, negotiation techniques, the role of volunteering in professional development, and entrepreneurship essentials. Groups can also choose to invite guest speakers to their meetings or schedule project tours.
The Forum groups meet once a month from January through June. To accommodate participants’ schedules, we offer morning and evening group meetings at a variety of locations in the Sacramento area.
