Thursday’s Housing program on Missing Middle brought together speakers to discuss this type of diverse housing option. Speakers included John Miki, Associate with Berkeley-based Opticos Design, the firm who coined the term “missing middle.” This type of housing includes duplexes, fourplexes, and bungalow courts, compatible in scale with single-family homes, that addresses the growing demand for walkable, urban living.
